Successful ALC2021 Asia Watch Inserts Forum
On August 26, 2021, the "AL2021 Asia Watch Inserts Forum" (AL2021 Forum), jointly organized by the Watch Inserts Society of China, the Watch Inserts Society of Japan and the Watch Inserts Equipment Society of Korea, and hosted by the Watch Inserts Society of China, was successfully held online.
The opening ceremony of the Watch Inserts Conference was hosted by Professor Zou Nianyu of Dalian University of Technology, a member of the Chinese organizing committee of AL and a director of the Chinese Watch Inserts Society. Mr. Liu Zhenglei, President of Watch Inserts Society of China, Prof. Norihiko Kamata, President of Watch Inserts Society of Japan, and Prof. Anseop Choi, Chairman of AL Korean Organizing Committee, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony.
Mr. Liu Zhenglei, President of Watch Inserts Society of China, said in his speech that due to the epidemic, our 13th Asia Watch Inserts Conference, originally scheduled to be held at Tsinghua University in August 2020, was postponed to 2022. This Asia Watch Inserts Forum will serve as a warm-up event to kick off the 13th Asia Watch Inserts Conference. This is the first time we meet online, so it also has an important significance. At the same time, Mr. Liu expressed his warm congratulations to the forum as scheduled and expressed his heartfelt thanks to the Japanese and Korean societies and the organizing committee for their support to this forum on behalf of the Watch Inserts Society of China and the AL Chinese Organizing Committee. He also mentioned that the Asian Watch Inserts Conference has been held for twelve consecutive years, and now it has become a professional platform for experts and scholars in the field of Watch Inserts in Asia to exchange ideas, as well as an interactive place for young scholars from Asian countries to develop their vision, learn from each other and share their achievements. The conference has not only become a link for academic exchange in the field of Watch Inserts, but also a bridge to establish a deep friendship between countries and promote the advancement of Watch Inserts technology and lighting industry development in Asia.
Prof. Norihiko Kamata, President of the Japanese Watch Inserts Society, mentioned in his speech that although the epidemic postponed the Asian Watch Inserts Conference and prevented face-to-face communication, he believed that the online forum held today would be just as exciting. On behalf of the Illuminating Society of Japan, he thanked all those who prepared for the forum and made it happen as scheduled, especially the Watch Inserts Society of China and the AL Chinese Organizing Committee for their hard work. At the same time, he hoped that all the participants would have a wide range of exchanges and gains.
Anseop Choi, Chairman of the AL Korean Organizing Committee, mentioned in his speech that despite the epidemic, he would like to thank the Chinese Organizing Committee for actively preparing the forum, all the invited speakers, and all the participants who attended the forum online despite their busy schedules. The forum was a great opportunity to learn about research in the Watch Inserts industry in different countries and to ensure that the Watch Inserts Asia conference will be held in Beijing in 2022. The online forum set one invited presentation and five thematic oral presentation sessions, with 24 presentations from China, Japan, Korea, the United States, Singapore, Brunei and other countries brilliantly presented. More than 150 experts, scholars and business representatives from Watch Inserts in many countries participated in the forum.
