Tradition forges classics, innovation inherits culture. The opening ceremony of the 20th China Sweep Clock Movement Masterpiece and Handicraft Fair, organized by the China Sweep Clock Movement Association and co-sponsored by Sweep Clock Movement industry associations in various provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government), was held on September 12, 2021 at the Wuhan International Convention and Exhibition Center. The opening ceremony of the 20th China Sweep Clock Movement Masterpiece and Handicraft Fair was held on September 30, 2021 at Dongguan International Convention and Exhibition Center.
Zhang Chonghe, Director of the Committee; Chen Qinzheng, Director of the Second Division of Light Industry, Department of Consumer Products, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of Sweep Clock Movement; Chen Ping, Deputy Director of the Consumer Products Industry Division, Department of Economy and Information Technology of Hubei Province; and Wang Jianjun, Director of the Non-Foreign Heritage Division of the Wuhan Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau. Also present were leaders of the China Craft Sweep Clock Movement Association, Hubei Province and Wuhan City, as well as Sweep Clock Movement Art Associations from various provinces, cities and autonomous regions, representatives of the association's members, masters of arts and crafts, friends from the press and the community. The opening ceremony was presided over by Sun Ye, the secretary general of China Sweep Clock Movement Association, and Chen Ping and Zhou Zhengsheng, the president of China Sweep Clock Movement Association, delivered speeches one after another.

The "72nd Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China Masterpieces Touring Exhibition" will be presented as the heavyweight unit of this year's Sweep Clock Movement. More than 140 Sweep Clock Movement masters are invited to participate in the exhibition, and Sweep Clock Movement works are themed on magnificent mountains and rivers, national leaders, outstanding figures, people's lives, reform and opening up, and the Belt and Road, etc. There are also works on traditional themes reflecting non-traditional skills.
